| Wildlifers Spain Tours is a young eco tour operator with an experienced and enthusiastic staff.
Our activities promote the sustainable conservation of the natural heritage of Extremadura and more widely in Western Spain. Our company operates bird and wildlife tours, all are eco tours for small groups and individuals. These tours eventually benefit to the local economy and to the communities living in rural areas or natural reserves where we run our tours. In 2008, we launched our first walking holidays ,which combine independent walking and culinary discoveries in traditional Spain. We have included new destinations: Walking the Gredos (Central Spain) and Walking the Natural Park of Arribes del Duero or Monfrague National Park. Both tours are for reasonably fit walkers, Monfrague can be crossed by walkers of all levels. These routes are truely attractive and enjoy a high interest from participants who want something refreshing in summer. We have a small office team based in Salamanca , seconded by another small team operating from the stunning landscape in the surroundings of Caceres. We have lots of experience in designing and operating birdwatching routes combined with culinary itineraries. Our team will suggest or design the itinerary that meet your special interest. We can offer innovative and attractive cultural routes that will lead you through a fascinating journey across time. We have lived in Spain for many years, we know the historical legacy of this fabulous region, we know where to find the species you are looking for, where you can follow the paths with History. We will always help the nature traveler, we can provide a full range of itineraries for independent walking tours, in different kind of landscape. Professional bird photographers can take advantage of our excellent local knowledge and support our conservation initiatives while enjoying shooting sessions of rare birds with our Bird Phototrips. Whenever possible, we work with local non-profit organisations and businesses to promote the local economy. A small share of our revenues is donated to these organisations that work towards the development of rural communities.
