"It is perfectly situated for birding the most important spots in Extremadura, which means that there is a very high chance of ticking some of the must-see species - Spanish Imperial Eagle and Great Bustard, to mention two of them. Pierre is a very nice and helpful guy, and the finca makes up a nice, silent and beautiful retreat after a day of birding."

"We have been there now three times in a row, spring and summer, and our experience are that we find new species every time we come back. Rare birds are seen here and The guiding by Pierre and Teresy made our stay excellent. They are very nice and helpful and know a lot of places where you can find the birds. We will of course return to this paradise any time."

Birdwatching in Extremadura are birwatchers' paradise:"Our first experience with Pierre's guiding from their finca was amazing. The first morning after breakfast, it took more than 1 hour to reach the car (despite being only 50 meters away) because the sky was full of the three species of Vultures : Monk - Griffon- Egyptian-vultures: saw also Booted Eagles, Short-Toed Eagles, Black and white Storks, Spotless Starling, Rock Sparrow and Corn Bunting. Fantastic! My expectation was fully filled and it didn’t stop here. Every day we saw new species in the surrounding area. Day trip to the steps around Trujillo was incredible with lot of Great Bustard Calandra-lark, Bee-eaters, Great Spotted Cuckoo, Cattle Egret and many other birds. You easily count more than 60 species of birds and handful of rare birds seen here. Azure-Winged Magpie, Roller, Black-Winged Kite, Spanish Imperial Eagle etc.."

"This is the best place for relaxing in an exceptional landscape, doing absolutely nothing but birdwatching and enjoying the unique scenery. Our guide Pierre is one most devoted naturalist I've met in my life, he took our group to places like the natural park of Batuecas, Garganta del oso, and to many other places where we were lucky to identify many big birds of prey and one Spanish Imperial Eagle. The character bird seems to be the Woodchat Shrike in these meadow's landscapes. This was an extremelly satisfying experience with a guiding style that suited us above expectations. Besides, we were treated with excellent wines, this filled us with new energy before returning home"
