MAIN FEATURES:

What:Wildlife Photography Techniques for beginners and good photographers

Where: Granadilla, Extremadura, Spain. This is a Special Area for Bird Protection, it harbours some 80 species (in a 400 ha land), many of them are protected species. We have a fantastic set up for the course, including hides and bird feeders. The workshop takes place in a Birdwarching centre. We are surrounded by acres of pasture land with sheep husbandry has a principal farming activity.

Objectives:
Learn pratical tools and useful tips through field exercices and a theorical workshops. You will improve the quality and light of your photos. Essential knowledge for postprocessing before printing or web publishing

BASIC CONCEPTS:

Concepts:
- Camara types - RAW and JPG files
- Pixel resolutions and noise
- Camera set up - Sensor - Shutter speed
- Diaphragm aperture - Depth of field - ISO Sensibility
- Light metering - Rule of the third- Histograms
- Focal distance- Types of objetives

LANDSCAPES, WILDLIFE and FLORA PHOTOGRAPHY
Insights on the shooting technique for landscape and wildlife photography
Concepts:
- How to get close to your wildlife subject
- Nature photo composing
- Light measuring

POSTPROCESSING

Concepts:
- Improve the light
- Ajust the framing
- Optimise contrast and saturation. Final editing, framing for landscape photography
- Macro editing


Material Recommended:

Digital SLR Camera, teleobjective, tripod, remote control, spare battery and memory cards.
Bird photography requires 200 mm - 400 mm teleobjectives, nature and landscapes are best shot with 10mm - 24mm wide angles and macro objectives suit the macro photography.

Workshop will be led in the native language of the group.
